Sandboarding is a mix between surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding. Instead of riding on snow, streets and water, a sandboard is riding down or across the desert dune’s.
Sandboarding can be done on any type of sand, but the best conditions are found near dunes that are at least 25 meters high.
It can be a fun activity for the hall family at any age, also it doesn’t require any special gears or equipments. All what you need is a sandboard, sand, wax and a dune to ride down.
You can also lay down on your stomach and holding the grip by your hands to steer the board, just like regular surfing.
Four-wheel-drive vehicles are also recommended to ride across desert easily.
